New CNC Software

Easel looks to be an all-in-one solution to rapid prototyping. It’s almost ready for release and you can sign up for early access now. I haven’t tried it yet but here’s hoping it lives up to its promises.

A $20 CNC machine built from old floppy drives

Amazing ingenuity, a use for old e-waste and a return of the sweet sounds of the 80’s and 90’s.

I might start scrounging around for some pieces, I’m sure there’s a pile of floppy drives in a storeroom somewhere around here.

Learn all about CNC

I’ve just stumbled upon a relatively new website which aims to teach people about CNC technologies. It looks very clean and well laid out, I’ll be keeping an eye on it.
