Amazing ingenuity, a use for old e-waste and a return of the sweet sounds of the 80’s and 90’s.
I might start scrounging around for some pieces, I’m sure there’s a pile of floppy drives in a storeroom somewhere around here.

Organising some work for my Tech Graphics class today and while using Illustrator I knocked up a Resistor Colour Wheel for anyone who does electronics. I made one with a class many years ago but had long since lost the worksheet which I built with Publisher. I made this one up for a colleague who I was explaining the idea to the other day. It’s so interesting to remake resources like this with new tools and new skills, it makes you fully realise how far the technology has progressed, or perhaps how much I learned.
Anyway download it with the link (the pre-coloured one is for the teacher) and use it in class.
